Easy to put together. One adjustable shelf. I would have liked a little more flexibility with that but the height is perfect as is the width. I used four of these to make a 2 craft tables. Two of these bookshelves with a used a door from the rebuilding center and the children and I are reading to start doing art science experiments or event just writing. Our supplies are all right there underneath on the shelves.
